Steve formed Ocean Colour Scene, in 1989,  with fellow band members Simon Fowler, Oscar Harrison and Damon Minchella. After releasing  Moseley Shoals and Marchin Already they took the 90s, The Britpop scene and the world by storm, selling millions of records world wide . Two number one albums and ten studio albums later, OCS are bigger than ever. They are a band that are never off the road touring as well as headlining many UK and international festivals.

As a result of this Steve has a reputation of being one of the hardest working and musically knowledgeable  musicians in the industry. Obviously 24 years with OCS takes priority, but since 1992 he has also been a pivotal member of Paul Weller’s band. Steve has played, written and contributed to many of Paul’s albums and can always be seen by his side on stage.
